Wild Manzanita Wood
Our sandblasted Manzanita branches offer a striking way to introduce height, texture, and natural form to terrariums, paludariums, and aquariums. The organic branching patterns and varied diameters create a realistic, layered look while remaining lightweight and relatively low in tannin output.
Each branch can be displayed on its own or customized with mosses and plants to suit your design. A slight amber tint in the water may occur initially due to natural tannins, but this will gradually diminish over time. Pre-boiling the wood can help reduce discoloration before placement.
Note: Manzanita wood is naturally buoyant and may float when first added to an aquarium. Soaking it for several days prior to installation will allow it to fully saturate and sink.

As a natural product, each piece will vary slightly in size and shape (± a few inches).
This wood is buoyant and must be thoroughly soaked before it will reliably sink.
