Ghost Wood is a beautifully sandblasted driftwood prized for its clean lines and natural movement, making it a favorite for vivariums, terrariums, and aquariums alike. It features a light, earthy palette of soft beige and warm brown tones. Once fully saturated and placed underwater, its color deepens and becomes richer—especially under high-quality LED lighting, where the contours and grain truly stand out. Its smooth texture and flowing form make it easy to position, whether used as a focal point or in minimalist, driftwood-centered aquascapes.
As with most natural driftwoods, Ghost Wood may slightly soften aquarium water and release tannins, resulting in a gentle amber tint. This is a normal, temporary effect that can be minimized with regular water changes and routine tank maintenance.
Note: Manzanita wood is naturally buoyant and may float when first added to an aquarium. Soaking it for several days prior to installation will allow it to fully saturate and sink.
