Grape Wood Tube
Grape Wood is a distinctive driftwood known for its natural twists, curves, and knotted details that bring texture and personality to planted aquariums. Often chosen as an alternative to Manzanita, it’s also popular in decorative crafts and works especially well as a focal point in aquascapes. Compared to Malaysian or Spider Wood, Grape Wood offers a lighter coloration and a more intricate structure, though its tone may deepen naturally once submerged.
Completely natural and aquarium-safe, Grape Wood is equally suited for terrariums and paludariums, where it pairs beautifully with mosses, epiphytes, and emergent plants. Due to its density, it can take an extended period to become fully waterlogged. We recommend pre-soaking and/or anchoring it with stones or other supports to keep it securely in place. Like most driftwood, it will release tannins that may slightly tint the water; routine maintenance and water changes will gradually clear this effect.
As a natural product, individual pieces will vary in shape and size (± a few inches).
